looking for al pacino stage play

Looking for Al Pacino is an homage to one of the great stage and screen actors of our time, comprised of two different one-act plays associated with Al Pacino. The Indian Wants The Bronx by Israel Horovitz originally produced off-Broadway in 1968 starred a young Pacino as Murph, a performance with won him an Obie and Launched his film career. Written more than twenty years later, Big Al by Bryan Goluboff celebrates Pacino's career as seen through the crazed and adoring eyes of Leo, a fan determined to make Al an offer he can't refuse by writing him the most outstanding screenplay ever.

The plays are further linked in this production by Justin Huen's performance of the Pacino role in The Indian Wants The Bronx and the role of Pacino's rabid fan, Leo, in Big Al. Our cast and crew are still looking for Al Pacino, and we hope to glimpse him one night, setting our audience and digging into the unexpected pairing of these two pieces. And if Al tries to get out, we'd like to think we could "Pull him back in."
