I found my narrative voice while swimming with the sharks. As a self-taught visualist, I learn by creating. As an artist of mixed ethnicity, I knew my opportunities would be limited by what people saw as my “questionable identity.” Traditional Heros and Villains never quite fit who I am. In order to tell the stories that resonate with me, I decided to create those worlds from scratch. I’ve been fortunate to work in many fields in the industry, which gives me a unique perspective and an eye for the total scope of a project. I work viscerally, from the gut. My unconventional journey has created my aesthetic about story telling; fully-realized worlds with sensual design, evocative lighting, intuitive direction and rich performance.
